Welcome! Enjoy a scroll of art instead of a scroll of doom. :)

I’m Laura (she/they), an artist in the Bay Area with my hands in lots of pots. I’m self-taught and have been creating since I was little. I drew Garfield so many times as a kid I had him committed to memory. As a feeler and someone who spends a lot of time in the depths, I have found art to be a great record keeper, an endless container, and a way to heal, express, and learn about myself.
As much as art is a personal journey, I also feel strongly about using it in an effort to normalize stuff that’s hard, funny, and stigmatized or isolating about being a person. We need each other.
My creative process is pretty intuitive across the board. Art is an area where my nonlinear brain can go at the speed it wants to.
